Our Mission:
Our goal is to promote development in impoverished communities, through fun and innovative programs by the use of play, education and community empowerment.
We take great pride in our financial efficiency, our accountability to donors, and our transparency. We strive to use every dollar contributed as efficiently and effectively as possible. FFC currently runs off a very dedicated network of volunteers. This enables us to have very little overhead costs, therefore allowing as much as the money donated go straight back to the communities we support.
Our Vision:
We envision a world where children truly receive their right to a fulfilling childhood and where all people can rejoice in safe and cohesive communities. We hope to live in a world where all people have the ability to change their destiny and see life once again, as fun.
To achieve this goal, we focus on three major pillars: education, community empowerment and play. Through creative and locally driven means these fundamental building blocks will create positive change. Through our support, FFC will allow communities burdened with the stresses and constraints of poverty, to create moments that build pride and foster empowerment, to which new futures will unfold.
FFC promotes bringing the ‘fun’ back in to education through relieving schools of financial struggles. This means supporting lunch programs so children can focus in class and by sponsoring special school events to bring pride and excitement back in to the communities. Also, special projects like building playgrounds or sponsoring community driven projects will be funded. Celebrating children’s imaginations is key to developing a successful generation.
